Ignacio María Alcorta Hermoso, known by his nickname Cholín, was a Spanish football player. He was born on December 13, 1906, and passed away on November 30, 1967. Cholín played as a forward, which means he was mainly responsible for scoring goals.
He played for the Spanish national team in the 1928 Summer Olympics. This was his only game for his country.

Cholín's Football Career
Cholín played for several football clubs during his career. He started with a local team called Tolosa CF.
Playing for Real Sociedad
From 1927 to 1940, Cholín played for Real Sociedad. This was a very important part of his career. He scored many goals for them, including 53 goals in the top Spanish league, La Liga. Overall, he scored 136 goals for Real Sociedad. In 1928, he played in the final of a big cup competition, the Copa del Rey.
Later Playing Days
After Real Sociedad, Cholín played for Granada CF from 1940 to 1942. He then decided to stop playing professionally.
Becoming a Manager
After his playing career, Cholín became a football manager. He managed several teams:
