Chris Bey, whose real name is Daquan Christopher Johnson-Bey, is an American professional wrestler. He was born on February 13, 1996. Chris Bey is currently signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). He has been taking a break from wrestling since October 2024 due to a neck injury. Before joining TNA, he also wrestled for many other groups, including New Japan Pro-Wrestling. There, he was part of a wrestling team called Bullet Club.

Professional Wrestling Career
Early Days in Wrestling
Chris Bey started his wrestling journey in 2017. He trained at Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW) in Las Vegas. He used the name Chris Strong at first. Some of his trainers were famous wrestlers like Disco Inferno and Kenny King.
Soon after training, Bey had his first match. He teamed up with Heck Dynamite. They were known as "Dynamite Strong." Later in 2017, Bey began wrestling for PCW Ultra. He won his first match there against Adrian Quest.
Joining Impact Wrestling
In November 2018, Chris Bey first appeared on the TV show Impact!. He teamed with Mike Sydal, but they lost their match. He made a few more appearances in 2018 and 2019. On March 17, 2020, Bey got his first victory on Impact! when he defeated Damian Drake. He officially signed with Impact Wrestling in February 2020.
Becoming an X Division Champion
At the Rebellion event in April 2020, Bey won a big match. This showed he was a top performer in the X Division. The X Division is for wrestlers who are fast and do amazing moves.
On June 25, 2020, Impact Wrestling announced that Bey would challenge Willie Mack for the X Division Championship. This big match happened at Slammiversary. At this event, Chris Bey defeated Willie Mack to win his first X Division Championship! His reign as champion lasted 31 days. He lost the title to Rohit Raju in August 2020.
Joining Bullet Club and Tag Team Success
In July 2021, Chris Bey was offered a spot in the famous wrestling group Bullet Club. He first teamed with Jay White, a leader of the group. The next week, Bey officially joined Bullet Club after defeating Juice Robinson.
On March 2, 2023, Bey and his tag team partner, Ace Austin, won the Impact World Tag Team Championship. They defeated The Motor City Machine Guns to become champions for the first time. They lost the titles at Slammiversary in July 2023.
Later, in September 2023, Bey won a special briefcase in a match called Feast or Fired. This briefcase gave him and Ace Austin another chance to win the Tag Team Championship. At Bound for Glory, they defeated The Rascalz to become Tag Team Champions for the second time!
In March 2024, Bey and Austin lost their titles to The System. But they won them back at Slammiversary in July 2024. This made them three-time Tag Team Champions. They lost the titles again in September 2024.
Facing a Big Challenge
In October 2024, Chris Bey suffered a serious injury during a match. He had to be taken to the hospital and needed surgery. It was later shared that he had broken his neck. Doctors gave him a small chance of walking again.
However, in February 2025, Chris Bey shared a video of himself walking! He is working hard on his recovery. In March 2025, a special wrestling show was held to help support his recovery. Wrestlers from many different companies came to help.
Other Wrestling Appearances
Chris Bey has also wrestled for other major companies. In 2019, he appeared on WWE's 205 Live show. He also wrestled for Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2019.
From 2020 to 2023, Bey wrestled for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He competed in the Super J-Cup tournament in 2020. He also teamed up with other members of Bullet Club in NJPW.
Music Career
Chris Bey also has a passion for music. He has released several songs on his YouTube channel. His first single, "Time," came out in September 2021. He also released music videos for songs like "Best Version" in 2022 and "Real Life" in 2023.
