Chris Fischer is an American chef and farmer. He grew up on Martha's Vineyard, an island in Massachusetts. He is married to the famous stand-up comedian and actress Amy Schumer.

About Chris Fischer
Chris Fischer was born and raised on Martha's Vineyard. His family had a farm, and he learned a lot about food from his father, Albert. His dad was a fisherman and taught Chris how to hunt, fish, and farm. Chris spent most of his childhood on the island. He even went to a small, two-room schoolhouse there.
Chris's Cooking Journey
When Chris decided to become a chef, he moved to Manhattan. He worked at a famous restaurant called Babbo. After that, he traveled to Europe to cook. He worked at the American Academy in Rome, Italy, and at The River Cafe in London, England. These experiences helped him learn many different cooking styles.
In 2007, Chris returned to Martha's Vineyard. He started working full-time at his family's farm, Beetlebung Farm. His grandfather bought this five-acre farm many years ago. Chris also became the executive chef at the Beach Plum Inn & Restaurant. He worked there for several years.
Awards and Recognition
Chris Fischer has received important awards for his cooking and writing. In 2014, he won the StarChefs.com Coastal New England Rising Stars Award. This award recognized him as a talented chef in the region.
