Christopher Hesketh (born 28 November 1944 – died 10 August 2017) was a famous English rugby league player. He was part of the team that won the Rugby League World Cup. Chris played as a centre (number 3 or 4) or a stand-off (number 6).

He played for two main clubs: Wigan and Salford. He also represented his country, playing for Great Britain and England.

In 1967, he moved to Salford. He stayed with Salford for a very long time, until he retired in 1979. After his rugby career, Chris worked as a salesman. He retired from that job in 2006.
