Chris Roberts (born Christian Klusáček) was a famous German singer and actor. He was known for his popular Schlager music, which is a type of catchy German pop music. Chris was born in Munich on March 13, 1946. He was married to Claudia Roberts, who was also a singer and actress. They often performed together on stage.

Early Career

Chris Roberts started his music career with a slightly different artist name, Chris Robert. His first two songs were called Baby's gone and Welchen Weg soll ich gehen (which means "Which way should I go"). These songs helped him become known in the music world.

Eurovision Song Contest

In 1985, Chris Roberts had the chance to represent Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest. This is a big international music competition where different countries compete. He was part of a group of six singers, called a sextet. They performed a song called "Children, Kinder, Enfants." The group earned 37 points and finished in 13th place overall in the contest.

Later Life and Passing

Chris Roberts continued his career in music and acting. He passed away in Berlin on July 2, 2017, at the age of 71. He died from pancreatic cancer.
