Chris Watson (born July 16, 1975) is a former basketball player. He is both American and Israeli. Chris played as a power forward and center. He stands 6 feet 7 inches (200 cm) tall.
He played for the Israel national basketball team. Chris also played professional basketball for 20 years. He spent most of his career in Israel. He won two championships with the team Hapoel Holon.

Chris Watson's College Basketball Career
Chris attended Niagara University. He played for their basketball team, the Purple Eagles. They are part of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Chris was a top player for his team. He led the team in scoring for his last three seasons. In his junior year, he scored 16.8 points per game. In his senior year, he scored 17.4 points per game. He also led the conference in field goal percentage. This means he made a high percentage of his shots.
He made 16 field goals in one game against Siena. This is tied for the most ever in a conference game. Chris was recognized for his great play. He earned All-MAAC Tournament honors twice. He was also named to the All-MAAC Second Team and then the All-MAAC First Team.
Chris finished his college career with 1,711 points. This was the fourth-highest score in Niagara history at the time. He graduated in 1996. In 2016, Chris was honored by being inducted into the Niagara University Hall of Fame.
Chris Watson's Professional Basketball Career
Chris Watson played professional basketball for two decades. He played in several countries. These included Belgium, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Uruguay. He played mostly in Israel.
In Uruguay, he was the second-highest scorer in the league for two seasons. He also played for teams in Sweden and England.
When he came to Israel, he played for teams like Hapoel Tel Aviv and Migdal Ha'emek.
Chris achieved great success with Hapoel Holon. He helped them win the Israeli Championship in 2007–2008. They won again the next season, in 2008–2009. He also represented Israel in the European Championships in 2009.
He played for Ironi Ramat Gan in 2009–2010. In 2011, Chris was chosen for the Israeli Basketball Premier League All-Star Game.
Later in his career, he played for Ironi Kiryat Ata in 2013–14. From 2014 to 2016, he played for Hapoel Be'er Sheva B.C. in the Israel National League.
