Chris Watson (born July 16, 1975) is a former basketball player. He is from both America and Israel. Chris played as a power forward and center, standing 6 feet 7 inches tall. He also played for the Israel national basketball team.
Chris went to Niagara University for college. He was a top player there. Later, he played professional basketball for 20 years. Most of his career was spent playing in Israel. He even won the Israeli Championship twice with Hapoel Holon.

Chris Watson was born in White Plains, New York. He went to White Plains High School. Later, he transferred to Archbishop Stepinac High School. In 2003, Chris became an Israeli citizen. This happened after he married an Israeli woman named Roni. They have a daughter named Dream.
College Basketball Career
Chris Watson played college basketball at Niagara University. He was part of the Purple Eagles basketball team. This team competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Chris was a very important player for his team. He led the team in scoring for his last three seasons. In his junior year, he scored 16.8 points per game. In his senior year, he averaged 17.4 points per game. He was also very good at shooting, leading the conference with a 56.8% field goal percentage.
He finished his college career with 1,711 points. This was the fourth-highest score in Niagara history at that time. Chris graduated in 1996. In 2016, he was honored by being added to the Niagara University Hall of Fame.
Professional Basketball Journey
Chris Watson played professional basketball for two decades. He played in several countries around the world. These included Belgium, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Uruguay. However, he played most of his career in Israel.
In Israel, he played for several teams. Some of these teams were Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Holon, and Ironi Ashkelon. He had great success with Hapoel Holon. He helped them win the Israeli Championship in both 2007–2008 and 2008–2009.
Chris also played for the Israel national basketball team. He represented Israel in the Qualifications to European Championships in 2009. In 2011, he was chosen to play in the Israeli Basketball Premier League All-Star Game. He continued playing in Israel until 2016. His last teams included Ironi Kiryat Ata and Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
