The Riddles of Epsilon even received a "perfect ten" rating from VOYA (Voice of Youth Advocates) in 2006, which means it was highly praised! About Christine Morton-Shaw

Christine Morton-Shaw grew up in Blackburn, England. She has mentioned having some spooky or supernatural experiences there. Later, she moved to Sheffield, England, to go to university. She earned a master's degree in Creative Writing from Sheffield Hallam University.

Even before getting her master's degree, she had already published several picture books for children. Her very first book was The Pig that Barked. This book was illustrated by Angie Sage.

In 2003, Christine Morton-Shaw signed a deal to publish her teenage fantasy novel, The Riddles of Epsilon. This book was released in 2005 and was highly anticipated. A sequel, The Hunt for the Seventh, followed in 2008.
