Claire Forlani is an English actress. She was born on December 17, 1971, in London, England. Claire became well-known in the 1990s for her roles in movies like Mallrats and Basquiat.
A big moment in her career was starring in the fantasy romance film Meet Joe Black in 1998. She has also appeared in many other films such as Mystery Men (1999), Boys and Girls (2000), and Five Feet Apart (2019). Claire has also acted in several TV shows, including CSI: NY, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Hawaii Five-0.

Early life and education
Claire Forlani was born in Twickenham, a part of London. Her mother, Barbara, is English, and her father, Pier Luigi Forlani, is a music manager from Ferrara, Italy.
When Claire was 11 years old, she started studying acting at the Arts Educational School in London. She spent six years there, also learning ballet. Her ballet studies led her to perform on stage in plays like The Nutcracker and Orpheus in the Underworld.
Acting career
In 1993, Claire's parents moved to San Francisco, USA. They did this to help her find more acting jobs in Hollywood films. Soon after, she got roles in the TV mini-series JFK: Reckless Youth and the movie Police Academy: Mission to Moscow.
In 1995, she played Brandi Svenning in the film Mallrats. The next year, in 1996, Claire had a supporting role in the movie The Rock, where she played the daughter of a character played by Sean Connery.
She continued to act in both big and smaller movies. In 1998, she starred with famous actors like Anthony Hopkins and Brad Pitt in Meet Joe Black. The next year, she was in Mystery Men with Ben Stiller. In 2001, she appeared in the thriller film Antitrust.
Claire Forlani also became the new face for the beauty brand L'Oréal in 2001.
In 2003, she acted alongside Jackie Chan in The Medallion. She was also in Green Street Hooligans (2005) and Hallam Foe (2007). In 2006, she joined the cast of the TV show CSI: NY as Dr. Peyton Driscoll. She also played Tori Bodeen in the 2007 film Carolina Moon. In 2008, she starred with Daniel Craig in Flashbacks of a Fool.
In 2010, Claire appeared in the TV show NCIS: Los Angeles as Agent Lauren Hunter. She also played Queen Igraine in the TV series Camelot in 2011. From 2016 to 2017, she had a recurring role as Alicia Brown in Hawaii Five-0.
Personal life
On June 8, 2007, Claire Forlani married Scottish actor Dougray Scott in Italy. They have one son together.
