Claire Goose is a Scottish actress. She became well-known for playing Tina Seabrook in the TV show Casualty from 1997 to 2000. She also starred as DS "Mel" Silver in Waking the Dead and Insp. Rachel Weston in The Bill. Claire won an award for "Best Acting Performance" for her role as Jane Kennedy in The Coroner. She has also narrated a reality TV series and performed in theatre.

Early Life and Education
Claire Goose was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on February 10, 1975. She grew up in a place called Dersingham, England. Her father was a doctor there. Claire has an older sister, Caroline, who is a nursery nurse, and an older brother, Duncan. Duncan started a company called One Drinks. Claire went to Wisbech Grammar School. After that, she studied acting at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

Claire Goose started her acting career in theatre plays like Addicted to Love. She also appeared in early TV commercials.
Her big break came when she played Nurse Tina Seabrook in the popular BBC show Casualty. She was in about 80 episodes between 1997 and 2000. In 1998, she was nominated for "Most Popular Newcomer" for this role.
From 2000 to 2004, Claire played DC/DS Amelia 'Mel' Silver in four series of Waking the Dead. This was a detective show.
In 2008, she joined the cast of ITV's The Bill, playing Sergeant, and later Inspector, Rachel Weston. That same year, she also starred in a British film called Bad Day.
Claire appeared in the BBC1 drama Exile in 2011. In 2015, she was in an episode of Death in Paradise.
From 2015 to 2016, Claire played the main character, Jane Kennedy, in the BBC drama The Coroner. This show was set in a fictional coastal town. She won the "Best Acting Performance" award from the Royal Television Society in 2016 for this role.
More recently, in 2019, she played the lead role of Thea in a play called "The Girl Who Fell". Since 2022, she has been starring as Steph in the CBBC science-fiction series Silverpoint, which is a show for teens.
