Clearly Canadian is a popular brand of sparkling water. It's made by The Clearly Food & Beverage Company Ltd. in British Columbia, Canada. This drink started in 1987. Many people in the United States, Europe, and Japan enjoy it.

The Story of Clearly Canadian

Clearly Canadian was started in 1987. Gordon Sim and Doug Mason, along with others, created it in British Columbia. It was one of the first "new age" drinks. These drinks were different from regular sodas. They helped create a huge market for unique beverages. Clearly Canadian has been made every year since 1987. There was a short break in 2010 and 2011.

The company grew very fast in the 1990s. It was popular like Snapple and Red Bull. But then, the company had some problems from 2000 to 2012. In 2012, a businessman named Robert R. Khan bought the company. He helped it start making drinks again.

A special online campaign helped bring the drink back. Fans pre-ordered over 40,000 cases of the drink. This showed how much people loved it! Famous internet hosts Rhett and Link from "Good Mythical Morning" also helped. They told their fans to support the campaign. They wanted to save the drink they loved as kids.
