Clearly Canadian is a popular brand of sparkling water. It's made by The Clearly Food & Beverage Company Ltd. in Canada. This refreshing drink was first created in 1987 in British Columbia, Canada. It's well-known in the United States, parts of Europe, and Japan.

The Story of Clearly Canadian

Clearly Canadian was started in 1987 by Gordon Sim, Doug Mason, and others. Many people think it was one of the first "new age" drinks. It helped create the huge market for special drinks we see today. The company has made drinks every year since 1987, except for 2010 and 2011.

In the 1990s, Clearly Canadian grew very fast. It became popular alongside other big brands like Snapple and Red Bull. But after 2000, the company had some problems with how it was managed.

In 2012, a business person named Robert R. Khan bought the company. He helped bring it back. Fans of the drink even helped by buying cases online before they were made. This "crowd-sourcing" campaign sold over 40,000 cases! Rhett and Link, who host the internet show "Good Mythical Morning", helped tell people about the campaign. They wanted to save the drink they loved as kids.
