Clemente José Montes Barroilhet (born April 25, 2001) is a Chilean professional football player. He plays as a forward for the team Universidad Católica.

Club Career
Starting with Universidad Católica
Clemente Montes started his professional football journey in 2020. His first game was against Santiago Wanderers. This match took place at the San Carlos de Apoquindo stadium.
International Career
Playing for Chile
In 2021, Clemente Montes was called to train with the Chile senior team. This was part of a special training program. Later that year, he got his first official call-up. He played in a friendly match against Bolivia on March 26, 2021. He made his international debut in the 87th minute of that game. His teammate Ignacio Saavedra also debuted with him.
Clemente was also part of the Chile squad for the 2021 Copa América. However, he did not play in any matches during that tournament.
Pan American Games
In 2023, Clemente Montes joined the squad for the Pan American Games. Chile's team played very well and won the silver medal in football.
Pre-Olympic Tournament
In 2024, Clemente Montes participated in the 2024 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament. He joined the team to replace another player, Lautaro Pastrán, who was injured.
Personal Life
Clemente Montes has two cousins who are also professional football players. They are brothers. The older brother, Richard Barroilhet, was born in England and is French-Chilean. He came to Chile in 2017 to play for O'Higgins. The younger brother, Jordan Barroilhet, is French-Chilean. He came to Chile in 2020 to join Deportes Puerto Montt.
