The Santa Marta foliage-gleaner (Clibanornis rufipectus) is a species of bird in the family Furnariidae. It is endemic to Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. It was formerly considered a subspecies of the ruddy foliage-gleaner. Morphological and behavioural characteristics suggested that the species may be closely related to the Henna-hooded foliage-gleaner. A new molecular phylogeny revealed that this species is part of a group together with both the Henna-hooded foliage-gleaner and the Ruddy foliage-gleaner complex.
