Clover Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in the heart of the Umpqua National Forest in Douglas County, Oregon. It's also been known as Upper Hemlock Falls in the past. This waterfall is part of Hemlock Creek and can be found just north of Hemlock Lake.
You can reach Clover Falls from the Lake of the Woods campground. This area is special because the river creates several other waterfalls nearby. Within about a mile, you can also find Hemlock Falls, Yakso Falls, and Tributary Falls.
Finding Clover Falls
The path to Clover Falls is a round trip of about 1.8 mi (3 km). It's a great way to explore the forest! The waterfall is about 25 miles (40 km) from the small town of Glide. You get there by following Little River Road (County Road 17), which then becomes Forest Road 27.
The starting point for the trail is at the Lake of the Woods campground. One interesting thing about this trail is that it doesn't have signs pointing to Clover Falls. This makes finding it a bit more of an adventure compared to other waterfalls in the area!
