Coca-Cola Citra and a sugar-free version called Coca-Cola Citra Light first came out in Mexico. This happened in 2005. It was a special test to see if people liked the new flavor.
New Zealand
The drink was also sold for a short time in New Zealand. It was available during the summer of 2005-2006. It came back for another short period from March to September in 2007.
Japan
Coca-Cola Citra was released in Japan on May 29, 2006. You could buy it in different bottle sizes. These included 1.5 liter, 500 ml, and 300 ml bottles. It was stopped in Japan the next year.
United Kingdom
A diet version of the drink was released in the United Kingdom. It was called Diet Coke with Citrus Zest. This happened in 2007. It replaced other Diet Coke flavors like lemon and lime. In May 2018, this drink was stopped. A new flavor, Diet Coke Exotic Mango, took its place.
Jordan
In 2023, a new version was released in Jordan. It was a Zero Sugar drink. It was named Coca-Cola Zero Calories Lemon-Lime.
