Coca-Cola with Lemon has been released in different versions and at different times around the world.
Diet Coke with Lemon
The first version of this lemon-flavored cola was called Diet Coke with Lemon. It came out in the United States in 2001. In many other places, it was known as Coca-Cola Light with Lemon or Diet Coca-Cola with Lemon.
This drink was available in many countries, including Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Israel, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Brazil, China, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
Diet Coke with Lemon was stopped in the United States at the end of 2005. However, you can still find it in special Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, which let you mix your own flavors.
Coca-Cola with Lemon (Regular)
In April 2005, a regular, full-sugar version of Coca-Cola with Lemon was announced. It first came out in the United Kingdom for the summer of 2005. Later that year, it was released in Japan, and then in France in 2006.
The drink also arrived in Hong Kong in 2011.
In July 2014, Coca-Cola with Lemon was brought back to Japan for a short time. It was sold in over 16,000 7-Eleven stores across Japan with new packaging. It was only available while supplies lasted.
In March 2017, this regular version was released in Brazil as a special limited edition. In 2022, it was introduced in Hungary.
Good news for fans in the United Kingdom! In February 2024, it was announced that the regular Coca-Cola with Lemon would return. It had been stopped there in 2006.
Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Lemon
Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Lemon is a version with no sugar. It first came out in Italy in 2017. You could buy it in glass bottles, plastic bottles, and aluminum cans.
This zero-sugar version is now available in many countries. These include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. In Russia, it was known as Lemon No Sugar.
