Coca-Cola with Lime is a special version of the classic Coca-Cola drink. It tastes like regular Coke but with a refreshing lime flavor added. This fizzy drink first came out in North America in early 2005.
The idea for Coca-Cola with Lime came from people really liking Diet Coke with Lime, which was released in 2004. Even though it was stopped in North America in 2006, you can still find Coca-Cola with Lime in many countries around the world.

Where You Can Find It
Coca-Cola with Lime has been sold in many different places.
Europe
In the United Kingdom, Coca-Cola with Lime was sold in green bottles as a special summer drink in 2006. It was later brought back in 2020 as "Diet Coke Sublime Lime."
You could also find it in Denmark and Sweden, but it's not sold there anymore. In the Netherlands, it started as a special summer drink in 2005 and is now widely available.
Currently, Coca-Cola Lime is available in:
- Romania (since 2016, though a Zero Sugar version replaced it in 2019)
- Poland (since 2017)
- Estonia (since 2017)
- Lithuania (since 2017)

Asia and Oceania
Coca-Cola with Lime is also sold in Singapore. In Ireland, it was available for a short time, but now only the Diet Coke with Lime version is sold there.
In Australia, Coca-Cola with Lime was available for a brief period. However, it wasn't very popular. Big stores like Woolworths and Coles had to sell it at a much lower price to clear their stock.
In Japan, you can buy Coca-Cola "Lime" as of July 2021.
North America
In Canada, Coca-Cola Lime has been available since January 2018.
Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines
Besides being sold in bottles and cans, you can also create Coca-Cola with Lime using Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. These machines let you mix different flavors with your soda.
Advertisements
The first TV advertisement for Coca-Cola with Lime appeared during the show American Idol on March 7, 2005. The ad used a fun, edited version of the song "Coconut" by Harry Nilsson. The lyrics were changed to "You put the lime in the Coke, you nut," which was a playful way to promote the new flavor.
