Coca-Cola Clear is a special kind of Coca-Cola that looks different from the regular drink. It's a soft drink that has no color at all! Imagine a clear soda that tastes like Coke.
Normally, Coca-Cola gets its dark color from an ingredient called caramel. But Coca-Cola Clear doesn't use caramel. To make up for this, it has a fresh lemon flavor. This unique drink was created by Coca-Cola Asia Pacific. It first came out in Japan in June 2018.
Later, on June 10, 2019, another version was released. This one was called Coca-Cola Clear Lime. It had a lime flavor instead of lemon. Also, the Clear Lime version used high-fructose corn syrup for sweetness. The original Coca-Cola Clear uses different sweeteners like sucralose and acesulfame potassium.
Where to Find Coca-Cola Clear
Coca-Cola Clear was first sold in Japan. That's where it was officially launched. However, people in other places could also find it.
Availability in Asia
You could also buy Coca-Cola Clear in Taiwan and China. These drinks were brought in by special import stores. This means they weren't officially sold everywhere. Instead, they were brought in by companies that specialize in importing unique products.
