Colmar is a small place in Illinois, United States. It is known as an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and buildings that doesn't have its own local government. Instead, it's part of a larger area called Lamoine Township in McDonough County.

Colmar is located in the western part of Illinois. You can find it along Illinois Route 61. It's about 4 miles (6.4 km) north-northeast of a town called Plymouth.
For many years, Colmar had its own post office. This was a place where people could send and receive mail. However, the post office in Colmar closed down on July 18, 1992.
