Colonel Freckles was a famous Quarter Horse stallion. He was known as a top cutting horse. A cutting horse is a special horse trained to separate one cow from a herd. Colonel Freckles earned over $46,000 in contests held by the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA). After his successful career, he became a breeding stallion. He passed away in October 1986.
