Colonial Heights is a cool neighborhood located in the southeast part of Sacramento, California. It's an older area, first started in 1910. Back then, it was known as a "Streetcar Suburb." This means people used electric streetcars to get around, not cars! The Central California Traction Company ran these streetcars, making it easy for everyone to travel.

Where is Colonial Heights?
Colonial Heights is found in the southeast part of Sacramento. Imagine a map: on the west side is Stockton Boulevard, and on the east is 58th Street. To the north, you'll find 14th Avenue, and to the south, it's bordered by 22nd Avenue. That's the area of Colonial Heights!
Fun at Colonial Heights Park
Right in the middle of Colonial Heights, there's a city park! This park is a great place for outdoor fun. It's located between 18th and 19th Avenues, and between 53rd and 54th Streets.
What can you do at the park?
The park has lots of cool stuff for kids and families. You can find a wading pool, perfect for cooling off on a hot day. There are also playgrounds for both younger kids and toddlers. If you want to have a meal outside, there are picnic benches ready for you.
For sports lovers, the park has a softball or baseball diamond. There's also a big field for soccer or other games. If basketball is your game, you can shoot hoops on the half-court.
Neighborhood Community
The people living in Colonial Heights have a neighborhood association. This group helps make the community a better place. They often meet at the Colonial Heights Library. The library is located in the southwest part of the neighborhood.
