In 2010, about 296 people lived here. By 2020, the population was 127. Colorado Acres was created as a new CDP just before the 2010 census. It was formed from parts of another CDP called Ranchitos Las Lomas.
Colorado Acres is one of several similar communities in Webb County. These communities are sometimes called colonias.

Colorado Acres is found in the eastern-central part of Webb County, Texas. You can find it along U.S. Highway 59.
The community covers an area of about 2.93 square miles (about 7.6 square kilometers). All of this area is land; there are no large bodies of water within Colorado Acres.
How Many People Live Here?
Colorado Acres first appeared as a place counted by the census in 2010. Before that, it was part of a larger area.
In 2010, the population was 296 people. By the time of the 2020 census, the population had changed to 127 people.
When Colorado Acres was created, six other CDPs were also formed from the Ranchitos Las Lomas area. These included Hillside Acres, Las Haciendas, Las Pilas, Los Veteranos I, Pueblo East, and Valle Verde.
