Colquechaca is a town in Bolivia. Its name, also spelled Qullqichaka, comes from the Quechua words qullqi (silver or money) and chaka (bridge). So, it means "silver bridge."
Colquechaca is the main town of a municipality in the Chayanta Province. This province is part of the Potosí Department in Bolivia.
