Columbus is a small village located in Adams County, Illinois, in the United States. In 2020, about 114 people lived there. It is part of the larger Quincy, IL–MO area.
The Story of Columbus
Columbus was officially planned out in 1835. A post office, which is where people send and receive mail, was opened in Columbus in 1837. It stayed open for many years until 1963.
