Comarnic is a town in Prahova County, Romania. It is located in a region called Muntenia. In 2021, about 11,106 people lived there.

Comarnic includes four smaller villages. These are Ghioșești, Podu Lung, Poiana, and Posada. The town is mostly found along the Prahova River. Most of it is on the left side of the river. Some villages are on the right side.

Comarnic has a special friendship with one city. This is called a sister city.
