Connie started her acting journey in 1993 on the show Generations. She played the main character, Karabo Moroka. Karabo was the wife of Tau Mogale and sister to Archie Moroka. Connie acted alongside other well-known stars like Menzi Ngubane and Sophie Ndaba.
She played Karabo for 16 years, leaving the show in 2010 to try new things. But she returned in 2014 to help launch the new version of the show, Generations: The Legacy. She left again in 2016. In 2023, Connie came back to Generations once more, bringing her famous character Karabo Moroka back to life.
