Shona Ferguson (born Aaron Arthur Ferguson, 30 April 1974 – 30 July 2021) was a talented actor and producer. He was from Botswana but worked mostly in South Africa. Shona was also a co-founder of Ferguson Films. He started this film company with his wife, Connie Ferguson.

Starting His Career
Shona Ferguson began his journey in entertainment in 1992. He worked as a club DJ at The Palace Hotel Night Club in Lesotho. Later, he moved back to Botswana.
His focus then changed to the business world. He worked in the IT industry. Shona started as a salesman and became a respected businessman. He even won several awards for his achievements. One award was the Top Sales Manager Award in 1998–99.
Acting Roles
Shona Ferguson's first big acting role was as Dr. Leabua. This was in a South African TV show called Muvhango. He left that show in 2007.
From 2011 to 2013, he played Itumeleng in The Wild. This was another popular TV show.
Working with Ferguson Films
Shona and his wife, Connie Ferguson, started their own film company. It was called Ferguson Films. They both acted in the company's first TV series, Rockville. Shona played the character JB from 2013 until the show ended in 2016.
He also starred in The Gift in 2014, which was a Ferguson Films series. Later, he played Jerry Maake in The Queen. This show also started in 2016 and was made by Ferguson Films. Shona also appeared in other TV shows. These included Isidingo: The Need as Tyson and Scandal! as Alex.

In 2010, Shona Ferguson and his wife, Connie, started Ferguson Films. They created many popular TV shows.

Shona Ferguson met actress Connie Masilo on 31 July 2001. They got married in November of the same year.
Awards and Recognition
Shona Ferguson received important awards for his acting. He won the Golden Horn Award for Best Actor in a TV Soap. He also won a Golden Horn Award for Best Achievement by a Lead Actor in a Made for TV Movie.
His Passing
On 26 June 2021, Shona Ferguson went to Pinehaven Hospital. He was sick with COVID-19. In July, his condition became more serious. He was moved to Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg.
Shona Ferguson passed away on 30 July 2021, at the age of 47. He was buried at the Fourways Memorial Park. A memorial service was held a few days later. Only 50 people could attend due to COVID-19 rules at the time.
