History of Conrath
The village of Conrath was first known as Main Creek. This name came from Main Creek, a stream that flows right through the area. Later, the village was renamed Conrath. It was named after Frank and Charles Conrath. They were loggers, meaning people who cut down trees for wood. The Conrath brothers were among the first people to settle in this area.
