Corey Lamar Thurman, born on November 5, 1978, is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played for the Toronto Blue Jays in Major League Baseball (MLB). He also played for the York Revolution in an independent league.

Corey Thurman's Baseball Journey

Corey Thurman started his professional baseball career after being chosen by the Kansas City Royals. This happened in the 4th round of the 1996 Major League Baseball Draft. He played his first season in 1996 with the GCL Royals, a team in the Rookie league.

Later, in 2007, he played for the Huntsville Stars. This team was a Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. In 2008, Corey joined the York Revolution. This team is part of the independent Atlantic League. He played with them again in 2009.

Corey Thurman left the York Revolution on May 25, 2015. He had played five games that season. During his time with the York Revolution, he became a team legend.
