Coronda is a small city located in the Santa Fe Province of Argentina. It is part of the San Jerónimo Department. The city is about 43 kilometers (27 miles) south of Santa Fe, which is the capital city of the province. In 2010, about 18,000 people lived in Coronda.

History of Coronda

Coronda was officially founded in 1867. The person who founded it was Governor Nicasio Oroño. Later, on February 6, 1860, Coronda was given the status of a city. This means it became a more important place with its own local government.
