History of Corredor
Corredor became an official district on October 19, 1973. It was created by a special law, Ley 5373. Before this, it was part of the Golfito canton.
Geography of Corredor
Corredor covers an area of about 276.37 square kilometers. This is roughly the size of 27,637 football fields! The district is located at an elevation of 46 meters above sea level. This means it is not very high up from the ocean.
