Corsley Edwards, born on March 5, 1979, is an American who used to play professional basketball. He played college basketball for Central Connecticut before becoming a pro.

Early Life and College Basketball
Corsley Edwards was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He finished high school at Lake Clifton High School in 1998. After high school, he played college basketball at Central Connecticut State University.
In 2000, he helped his college team reach the NCAA Tournament for the very first time. They were a #15 seed and played a tough game against #2 seeded Iowa State, losing 88–78.
Professional Basketball Career
Corsley Edwards was chosen by the Sacramento Kings in the 2002 2002 NBA draft. He was the 58th and final player picked that year. However, he did not sign a contract with the Kings.
Instead, he joined the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). The Yakima Sun Kings picked him in their draft in 2002. He later played for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the CBA. In 2003, he was part of the CBA All-Rookie Team. He also led his team in rebounds during the 2003 CBA All-Star Game.
Playing in Europe and the NBA
In the 2003–2004 season, Edwards played as a center for a team called RB Montecatini Terme in Italy.
He also played 10 games for the New Orleans Hornets during the 2004-05 NBA season. In these games, he scored about 2.7 points per game. His last NBA game was on January 12, 2005, against the Detroit Pistons.
CBA Championship and International Play
In 2005, Edwards went back to the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He helped them win the 2005 CBA championship. He was even named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Finals!
After that, he played for Fenerbahçe in Turkey. He averaged 12.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game there.
In 2006, Edwards was the first player chosen in the NBA D-League Draft by the Anaheim Arsenal. He also played in Spain for a team in Granada. He returned to Turkey in 2007 with Banvit B.K..
Later Career Around the World
Edwards played basketball in many different countries.
- In 2008–2009, he played in China for the Yunnan Honghe Running Bulls.
- In 2009–2010, he played for the Shaanxi Dongsheng Kylins, also in China.
- For the 2010–2011 season, he joined KK Cedevita in Croatia. He helped them reach the Final Four of the Eurocup Basketball 2010–11 Final four.
- In 2011, he signed with Anwil Włocławek in Poland.
- For the 2012–2013 season, he played for KK Igokea in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- In 2013, he signed with Homenetmen Beirut in Lebanon.
Coaching Career
After his playing career, Corsley Edwards became a basketball coach.
- In October 2014, he became an assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA.
- On September 26, 2016, he was named an assistant coach for the Greensboro Swarm. This team is part of the NBA Development League. He coached there for three seasons.
