It first aired in the U.S. in 2007. Later, it came to Germany in 2009 and then to The Hub in the U.S. in 2010. You might have also seen it on Science Channel or Qubo. Big animation companies like Moonscoop and Mike Young Productions helped make the show.

About the Story
The show is all about a teenager named Robbie Shipton. He has a secret shoebox that leads to the ninth dimension! This is where Quantum Ray lives.
Robbie's Adventures
Robbie teams up with Quantum Ray and his friends, known as Team Quantum. Together, they travel across the whole universe. Their mission is to stop bad guys and save the day!
Even with all his cosmic adventures, Robbie still goes to school. Sometimes, his school life and space adventures mix in funny ways. For example, his locker sometimes leads right into Quantum Ray's universe!
Facing Villains
Robbie and Team Quantum face many enemies. Some of the main villains include Doctor Brainhead and a powerful character known as Mother. They always try to cause trouble for our heroes.
How the Show Was Made
Cosmic Quantum Ray was created by a scientist named Dr. Mani Bhaumik. He is a cosmologist, which means he studies the universe!
Science Behind the Fun
Even though it's a comedy and adventure show, it's also about science! The stories are based on real ideas from quantum physics. This is a part of science that studies tiny particles and how they behave.
At the end of each episode, the show explains some of the quantum physics ideas. This helps you learn about science while having fun! In 2009, the series even won an award called the Pulcinella Award for Best TV Series.
Who Wrote It?
The show was written in English, even though it was produced in Germany and France. Pamela Hickey and Dennys McCoy were the main writers. They made sure the stories used real quantum physics ideas.
