Count Felix of Monpezat (born Prince Felix of Denmark on 22 July 2002) is a member of the Danish royal family. He is the younger son of Prince Joachim and his first wife, Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg. Felix is a grandson of Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik. He is also a nephew of King Frederik X. Count Felix is currently seventh in line to the succession to the Danish throne.

About Count Felix
Count Felix was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 22 July 2002. His birth took place at Rigshospitalet, which is the Copenhagen University Hospital. When his father, Prince Joachim, spoke to the press after Felix was born, he joked about how many names they could choose from.
His Baptism
Felix was baptised on 4 October 2002. The ceremony happened at Møgeltønder Church in Møgeltønder. His full names were announced as Felix Henrik Valdemar Christian. He has several godparents, including his aunt, Martina Bent. Friends of his parents also became his godparents. During the baptism, a special piece of music was played for the first time. It was called Dåbens Pagt and was written just for Prince Felix.
Family Life
After his parents, Prince Joachim and Countess Alexandra, divorced, they shared care of Felix. He and his older brother, Prince Nikolai, lived with both parents.
His Education
Felix started his schooling at a pre-school in Copenhagen. When he was six, he went to Krebs School in Østerbro. This was the same school his father, brother, and uncle had attended. In 2018, he began his high school education at Gammel Hellerup Gymnasium. This was a special moment because he was the first member of the Danish royal family to attend a public high school.
After School
In 2021, the Danish royal court shared that Felix had passed his entry exam for the Royal Danish Military Academy. He started a two-year training program with the Army in August 2021. However, he left the training in October 2021. After that, he began a new path. He started working as a model for a well-known luxury jewellery company called Georg Jensen.
Titles and What He's Called
When Felix was born, he was known as "His Highness Prince Felix of Denmark." On 29 April 2008, his title changed slightly to "His Highness Prince Felix of Denmark, Count of Monpezat."
A big change happened in 2022. Queen Margrethe II decided that the children of her son Joachim would no longer use their princely titles. So, from 1 January 2023, Felix became known as "His Excellency Count Felix of Monpezat." Even with this change, he and his siblings still keep their places in the line to the Danish throne.
Awards and Honours
Count Felix has received several special awards and medals. These are given to him for important royal events and milestones.
