Before 2010, it was part of a larger area called Falman-County Acres. But in 2022, the nearby city of Aransas Pass took over Country Acres. This means Country Acres is no longer a separate CDP.

Country Acres first became a CDP in 2010. This happened when a larger area, Falman-County Acres, was split into two smaller CDPs. The U.S. Census Bureau stopped counting Country Acres as a separate CDP in 2022. This was because the city of Aransas Pass officially added Country Acres to its city limits.
