Covedale used to be a small village in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. Most of the village became part of the city of Cincinnati. Today, it is a neighborhood in western Cincinnati. About 15,000 people live there.

History of Covedale

Covedale officially became part of Cincinnati on June 4, 1930. This process is called annexation, which means a smaller area joins a larger city. After joining Cincinnati, Covedale stopped being a separate village. The parts of Covedale that didn't join Cincinnati became part of Green Township and a tiny piece went to Delhi Township.

What Covedale Looks Like Today
