Coyoles Central is a small village in Honduras. It is part of the Olanchito municipality. This village is located in the Yoro area. It is about 160 kilometers north of Tegucigalpa, the capital city.
Coyoles Central was first built as a "company town." This means it was created by a company for its workers. In this case, it was for the workers of the Standard Fruit Company. The village is also famous because it was a main setting in the book Prisión Verde [es] by Ramón Amaya Amador.
