Craig Point is a talented Iroquois lacrosse player. He was born on January 19, 1986, in Ohsweken, Ontario. Craig comes from the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation. He plays for the Rochester Knighthawks in the National Lacrosse League and the Six Nations Chiefs in Major Series Lacrosse.

Craig Point's Early Lacrosse Career
Craig Point started playing lacrosse at a young age. He played for the Six Nations Arrows in the OLA Junior A Lacrosse League. He helped his team win four league championships in a row! In 2007, they even won the Minto Cup, which is a national championship.
Craig also played for the Iroquois Nationals in the 2015 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship. He was the top scorer for his team and helped them win a silver medal.
In 2006, Craig played for Onondaga Community College. He led their team to a perfect season, winning the NJCAA National Championship.
Craig Point in the National Lacrosse League
In 2007, Craig Point was chosen third overall in the NLL Entry Draft by the Boston Blazers. Before the 2008 NLL season began, he was traded to the Minnesota Swarm.
Craig made a big splash in the league right away. He was named Rookie of the Week four times and Rookie of the Month in February. After his first season, he won the Rookie of the Year award. He was also named to the All-Rookie team, which means he was one of the best new players.
In 2009, Craig was traded to the Rochester Knighthawks. He became a key player for them. He helped the Knighthawks win the Champion's Cup in both the 2012 and 2013 seasons. This is a huge achievement in professional lacrosse!
Craig Point's Canadian Senior "A" Career
Craig also played in the Canadian Senior "A" league. In 2013, he was part of the Six Nations Chiefs team that won the Mann Cup. The Mann Cup is another very important championship in Canadian lacrosse.
Craig Point in Major League Lacrosse
Craig Point played for the Nationals for three seasons. For the first two seasons, the team was in Toronto. Then, it moved to Hamilton for his third season. In 2009, he was part of the Toronto Nationals team that won the Steinfeld Cup. Even though he only played a few games that season, he was still a member of the championship team.
