Kayaks and Canoes
In canoe sprint, athletes use two main types of boats:
- Kayaks (K): These boats are paddled with a double-bladed paddle. The paddler sits facing forward.
- Canoes (C): These boats are paddled with a single-bladed paddle. The paddler kneels on one knee.
