Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe (born Yan-Kay Lo on January 20, 1981) is a Canadian actress and director. She is well-known for her roles in horror films. These include Children of the Corn: Revelation (2001), Final Destination 3 (2006), Black Christmas (2006), and Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007). Crystal Lowe also plays Rita Haywith in the Hallmark Channel TV series Signed, Sealed, Delivered. This show started in 2013 and is still ongoing.

Early Life and Beginnings
Crystal Lowe was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Her mother is Scottish Canadian, and her father is Chinese Canadian from Hong Kong. When she was young, her family lived in Hong Kong for several years. Crystal Lowe shared in an interview that she wanted to be an actress since she was five years old.
Acting Career Highlights
Crystal Lowe began her career as a model. Her first acting job was at age 15. She played Nya in an episode of the TV show Stargate SG-1. After that, Lowe appeared as a guest star in many popular TV shows. These include Masters of Horror, Psych, Supernatural, and Stargate: Atlantis.
Early Film Roles
Lowe's first movie role was in 2000 in the film Get Carter. Soon after, she was cast as Tiffany in the horror movie Children of the Corn: Revelation. In 2006, Lowe played Ashlyn Halperin in Final Destination 3. Her next role was Lauren in the movie Black Christmas. Lowe later starred as Elena in Wrong Turn 2: Dead End.
Later Film and TV Appearances
Crystal Lowe also had small roles in movies like Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Good Luck Chuck. In 2008, she worked again with her Final Destination 3 co-stars Sam Easton and Amanda Crew in That One Night. Also in 2008, Lowe had supporting roles in the films Yeti: Curse of the Snow Demon and Center Stage: Turn It Up.
In 2010, Lowe appeared as Zoe in the movie Hot Tub Time Machine. She also played Vala in the ninth season of the CW show Smallville. In 2012, she was cast as Toby Nance. This was one of the main characters in the series Primeval: New World.
Directing and Recent Work
In 2014, Lowe was cast as Rita Haywith in the Hallmark series Signed, Sealed, Delivered. This show aired for one season and then became a series of TV movies. In 2015, she tried working behind the camera. She directed a short film called Becoming Sophie. This film was shown at the Cannes Short Film Library.
In 2017, Lowe played Sarah Albans in the movie Wonder. This film is based on the 2012 novel of the same name. In 2025, she is set to direct a TV film called "Pie To Die For: A Hannah Swensen Mystery".
Personal Life
On August 8, 2009, Crystal Lowe married Miko Tomasevich. Their wedding took place at the historic Hycroft Manor in Vancouver. She and her husband own a restaurant called Hyde Restaurant in Vancouver, British Columbia. Crystal Lowe can speak Cantonese fluently.
