Culen was a king who ruled Scotland in the 10th century. He became king after Dubh of Scotland died in 967. Culen's rule lasted from 967 to 971, though some records show he was recognized as king as early as 966.
Culen was the son of King Indulf. We don't know who his mother was. It's also thought that he might have been the king of Strathclyde during his time as King of Scotland.
Culen died in 971. After his death, Kenneth II and Amlaib became the next kings. We don't know where Culen was buried.
