Cully was a small village in northwestern France. It was located in the Calvados area. This area is part of the Normandy region.
Cully used to be called a "commune." A commune is like a small town or local area with its own government. On January 1, 2017, Cully joined with other nearby villages. They all became part of a new, larger commune called Moulins en Bessin. So, Cully is no longer a separate commune on its own.

Cully is found in the Calvados department. This department is in the Normandy region of France. Normandy is famous for its history and beautiful countryside. Cully is close to the city of Bayeux.
The village is located about 45 meters (148 feet) above sea level. Its lowest point is 19 meters (62 feet). Its highest point is 67 meters (220 feet). The total area of Cully was about 6.55 square kilometers (2.53 square miles).
How Many People Lived in Cully?
Cully was a small village. In 2018, about 157 people lived there. Over the years, the number of people living in Cully changed a little.
For example, in 1962, there were 150 residents. By 1990, the population grew to 181 people. Then, it went down slightly to 172 in 1999. In 2008, about 173 people called Cully home.
