Cumberland is a small village in Guernsey County, Ohio, United States. It is located about 70 miles (113 km) east of Columbus, the capital city of Ohio. In 2020, about 317 people lived there.

History of Cumberland
Cumberland was officially planned and laid out in 1828. It is believed that the village got its name from the Cumberland Road. This famous road was one of the first major improved highways in the United States. A post office has been serving the people of Cumberland since 1829.
