Curtis Robertson Jr. (born in 1953) is an American musician who plays bass guitar and guitar. He is also a talented songwriter. Curtis is known for his work with many famous artists.

He was married to Syreeta, a singer who used to be with the Motown record label. Curtis played a big part in creating Syreeta's music. He recorded songs with her and helped write them too.

Curtis has toured with many bands and musicians, including the Les McCann/Eddie Harris Band, Robben Ford, Randy Crawford, Gary Bartz, and Gladys Knight. Touring means traveling around to different places to perform live concerts. He also recorded music with artists like Bobby "Blue" Bland and Freddie Hubbard. Recording means playing music in a studio to make albums.

From 1990 to 2005, Curtis was the bass player for the famous singer Lou Rawls. Just like with Syreeta, Curtis helped shape the sound of Lou Rawls's music.

Today, Curtis lives in the Los Angeles area. He works as a musician for different projects. He is a member of singer Nailah Porter's band and also plays in a jazz group called the CJS Quintet.
