Cyprien Iov was born on May 12, 1989, in a city called Nice, in France. When he was 18 years old, in April 2007, he started sharing his work online.
He began by posting funny videos, audio shows (called podcasts), and tests on his blog. This blog was on a website called Dailymotion. He also had his own website, monsieurdream.com, where he shared his unique drawings and videos.
From Blog to YouTube Star
Cyprien even made stickers with his picture on them. He loved to stick them everywhere and send them to his fans in the mail. After a while, he decided to move his videos to YouTube, which became his main platform.
In April 2007, Cyprien moved from the South of France to a small apartment in Paris. He started working on a weekly online show called "Le Rewind." This show was for a news website, 20minutes.fr. Cyprien wrote the stories and edited the videos for this show, which featured unusual news.
