Cèlia Sànchez-Mústich (born December 9, 1954) is a talented Spanish writer and poet. She writes in the Catalan language, which is spoken in parts of Spain. Since 2001, she has lived in the beautiful town of Sitges.

About Cèlia Sànchez-Mústich

Cèlia Sànchez-Mústich loved music from a young age. She studied piano, guitar, and harmony in Barcelona. She has written many books, including poetry, novels, and short stories. Seven of her books have won important awards.

Her poems have been translated into many languages. These include Galician, Basque, Spanish, French, Occitan, Italian, and English. Her work has appeared in several poetry collections. One example is Paraula encesa.

Cèlia often reads her poems in different places. She sometimes works with other poets and musicians. A short film called Radio-Taxi (2012) was made from one of her short stories.

She also helps promote poetry. For five years, she organized poetry and music events at a place called Lailo. Since 2007, she has helped direct the Festa de la poesia a Sitges. This is a poetry festival in Sitges. She works on it with poet and biochemist Joan Duran i Ferrer [ca].

In 2013, a French magazine called Europe featured Cèlia. They included her with three other important Catalan poets. This helped her gain attention in France. Her book On no sabem was translated into French. It was called Cet espace entre nous. This book was presented in Paris in 2014.
