Dennis Jerome Seeley, born on November 28, 1989, is an American professional basketball player. He plays as a shooting guard for U-BT Cluj-Napoca in Romania's Liga Națională. Before becoming a pro, D. J. played college basketball for two teams: California and Cal State Fullerton.

Starting His Pro Career
After college, D. J. Seeley hoped to join the NBA. He was not chosen in the 2013 NBA draft, which means no team picked him directly. However, he still got a chance to play with the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2013 NBA Summer League. This is a special event where new players can show off their skills.
In July 2013, D. J. signed his first professional contract. He joined a team called Radnički Kragujevac in Serbia. He played there for part of the 2013–14 season. In February 2014, he moved to Germany to play for Medi Bayreuth for the rest of that season.
Playing Around the World
In November 2014, D. J. Seeley was picked by the Delaware 87ers in the NBA Development League Draft. This league helps players get ready for the NBA. After the D-League season ended in April 2015, he signed a short contract with La Bruixa d'Or Manresa in Spain.
D. J. continued his journey, playing for different teams in various countries. In July 2015, he joined Beşiktaş in Turkey. Later that year, in December 2015, he moved to Herbalife Gran Canaria in Spain. He played there for the rest of the season.
In June 2016, D. J. signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv, a well-known team in Israel. He played there for a year. Then, in June 2017, he returned to Gran Canaria for a second time.
Recent Successes
D. J. Seeley kept playing for different teams across Europe. In August 2018, he joined Rytas Vilnius in Lithuania. The next year, in July 2019, he signed with Casademont Zaragoza in Spain. He played well there, averaging about 11 points per game. He even signed with them again in July 2020.
Later in 2020, D. J. moved to Bayern Munich, a big team in Germany. In August 2021, he joined Buducnost VOLI in Montenegro. With Buducnost VOLI, he helped the team win the Montenegrin League championship in 2022 and the Montenegrin Cup in the same year.
In July 2022, he signed with BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque in France. Then, in January 2023, he returned to Bayern Munich for another period.
Currently, D. J. Seeley plays for U-BT Cluj-Napoca in Romania. He joined them in July 2023 and signed another contract in September 2024. With Cluj-Napoca, he has achieved great success, winning the Romanian Liga Națională and the Romanian Cup in 2024.
