DFC LUV Graz is an Austrian women's football club. It is based in the city of Graz. The team plays in the Austrian football leagues.
The club started in 1978 as part of a larger sports club called LUV Graz. Twenty years later, it became its own independent team.
Club History
DFC LUV Graz achieved a big win in 1979. They won the Austrian Cup. This was their first and only national title.
The team reached the Cup finals five more times. These were between 1984 and 2007. They also finished second in both the Championship and the Cup in 1986 and 2007.
After 2009, the team usually finished in the lower half of the championship standings. From 2014 to 2017, they worked with another team. This team was called 1. DFC Leoben. They played together as SPG LUV Graz/DFC Leoben.
