Daan Remmerts de Vries (born 5 April 1962) is a talented Dutch writer and illustrator. He creates amazing books for children and young people. He is known for both writing his own stories and drawing the pictures for them. He also illustrates books written by other authors.

Daan Remmerts de Vries started his career in 1990. His very first book was called Zippy en Slos. It was a collection of short stories. Since then, he has written and illustrated many popular books.
