Dadju Alimasi Nsungula, born on May 2, 1991, is a popular French-Congolese singer. He is best known by his stage name, Dadju, or sometimes as Prince Dadj. He first became known as part of a music duo called Shin Sekaï from 2012 to 2016. After that, he started his very successful solo career.

About Dadju

Dadju comes from a family where music is very important! His father, Djanana Djuna, was a singer in a famous band. His half-brother is Gims, who is also a super popular singer. Gims used to be in a big French rap group called Sexion d'Assaut. Dadju also has other brothers, Bedjik and Xgangs, who are rappers too.

In 2016, Dadju got married. A few months later, he and his wife welcomed their first daughter. In 2020, they had a baby boy, making their family even bigger!

His Music Journey

Dadju started his music career as part of a duo called Shin Sekaï with rapper Abou Tall. They released a few mixtapes and an album called Indéfini. In 2016, they decided to go their separate ways to focus on their own solo music.

Dadju then launched his solo career. His first solo album, Gentleman 2.0, came out in 2017 and was a huge hit! It even reached the number one spot in France and sold over 500,000 copies, earning a "Diamond" award. This album included popular songs like "Reine" and "Bob Marley," which also became very successful.

He continued to release more music, including the albums Poison and Antidote in 2019. These albums also did very well, with Poison selling over 128,000 copies and getting a "3x Platinum" award.

In 2022, he released another album called Cullinan. Dadju is also known for his collaborations with other artists. He has worked with many famous singers and rappers, like Ninho, Tiakola, Anitta, and of course, his brother Maître Gims. In 2024, he released a joint album called Héritage with singer Tayc.

Dadju's music often mixes different styles like R&B, hip hop, and Afropop. He is known for his smooth voice and catchy songs.
