Dadju Alimasi Nsungula, known simply as Dadju, is a popular French-Congolese singer. He is also sometimes called Prince Dadj. He started his music journey as part of a duo called Shin Sekaï before becoming a very successful solo artist.

Dadju was first signed to the record label Wati B. Later, in 2017, he joined Polydor Records, which is part of Universal Music Group. From 2012 to 2016, he was in a music group called Shin Sekaï with rapper Abou Tall. They released an album called Indéfini. The duo later decided to go their separate ways to focus on their own solo music careers. Dadju released his first solo album, Gentleman 2.0, in 2017.

Dadju's Family and Life

Dadju comes from a very musical family. His father, Djanana Djuna, was a singer in Papa Wemba's band. Dadju's half-brother is Gims, who is also a very famous solo singer. Gims was a member of the popular French rap group Sexion d'Assaut. Dadju also has other brothers, Bedjik and Xgangs, who are rappers too.

In 2016, Dadju got married. A few months later, he and his wife welcomed their daughter. In 2020, they had a baby boy.

On April 22, 2025, Dadju performed at a special concert called Solidarité Congo. This concert was held at the Accor Arena and was completely sold out. Many famous French hip-hop artists and Congolese musicians joined him. The event raised money for children affected by conflict in eastern Congo. The money went to Dadju's own charity, Give Back Charity.
