It even won some cool awards from BAFTA Kids! If you liked Dani's House, there was also a spin-off show called Dani's Castle that aired from 2013 to 2015. You can watch all five series of Dani's House right now on BBC iPlayer.

What is Dani's House About?

Dani is a teenage actress and singer. She often has to look after her younger brother, Max, and his friend, Ben. They also have a baby sibling, who is only seen in a cot. Dani and her friends, Toby and Sam, usually hang out in a special den at her house. They often find themselves in some really strange and funny situations!

Meanwhile, two aliens named Coordinator Zang and Coordinator Zark are watching them. They are supposed to be learning about humans. But really, they just love watching "Dani's House" and often try to copy what they see.

Changes Over the Series

  • Series 2: Dani's family moves to a new house. Toby goes off to medical school. Dani becomes friends with a new character named Jack. The baby is no longer mentioned. Instead, there's a "cat from hell" who is Jack's enemy.
  • Series 4: Dani gets a role in a TV show called McHurties Hospital. Her friend Sam trains to become an astronaut. Sam eventually leaves the show to become a scientist for NASA. Two new characters join: Ruby, Dani's energetic personal trainer, and Maisy, Ruby's mischievous younger sister. Maisy loves playing pranks on Max.
  • Series 5: Dani continues acting. Jack works as a DJ. Ruby keeps up her personal training. Max tries to become a grime artist and goes on a world tour. Dani's cousin, Megaboyd, teams up with Maisy to play pranks. Ben tries to find new hobbies. The show ended after five successful series.
